2017 AIPP Wedding Photographer of the Year

2017 Australian Wedding Photographer of the Year

Wot? yep thats what i said

Being rewarded for what you work hardest on is a pretty cool experience. These images were my submission to the AIPP Print Awards competition this year. I was seriously lucky to win over the approval of the esteemed judging panel and take home the 2017 Wedding Photographer of the year title. What gets me really excited though is that these images were created for my awesome clients that trust my vision and allow me to shoot the only way I know how. I think it’s also awesome that it sends the message to non AIPP members of the wedding photography community that your day to day work can be good enough to enter and you don’t need to necessary shoot for the awards.

Big shout outs to Perth Pro Lab for helping cook these babies up. Keren Dobia / Keren Dobia Photography took out the overall Photog of the Year with some incredible portraits and to all my friends that did amazingly well too, go check out their pages – Katie Kolenberg / heartstory Family Photog of the year – Angie Connell / Angie Connell Photography – Pet and Animal PPY – Leah Kennedy / Leah Kennedy Photography Creative PPY – Eric Ronald Album of the Year – Steve ScaloneSteve Scalone Photographer Book of the Year

One last thanks to all of the AIPP crew, Print handlers, Judges, Head office and State councils, the event this year was nothing short of epic. Well done.
