David and Sarah got married in style with an elegant backyard ceremony and reception at Riverbank in the Swan Valley.
I haven’t blogged for ages, and to be honest it’s quite a lot of work, however it has to be one of the best formats for visual story telling. I was designing an album yesterday and it made me realise how unrestricted you are with a simple scrolling blog post. The user also has control of how long they can look at an image and whether they go up or down. You can juxtapose images to create new meaning by designing diptychs or triptychs. You can tell the story in any way you choose really. And in the end it’s very satisfying to see the result. I wish I could do this for all of my clients but I can’t, so here is some encouragement for anyone thinking of having a backyard wedding. Dave and Sarah knocked it out of the park. Sarah wore her mum’s wedding dress with a few minor alterations, and when her dad saw her for the first time it was one of the most beautiful moments I have ever witnessed, it was a real privilege to be there. The reception was at Riverbank Estate in the Swan Valley and was styled by Touched By Angels.
