Kate + Georgia’s Bunker Bay Farm Wedding

Kate + Georgia’s Bunker Bay Farm Wedding, WA.
Words of advice from Kate + Georgia:
Make it whatever you want it to be. It’s your day to do whatever you want so make sure it reflects the two of you as a couple. Also, try different locations to do your wedding planning – When it was all getting a bit stressful we would go away camping for a night or even just a cool cafe or bar somewhere to do our planning. The change of scene really helped us make the whole process super fun and gave us the opportunity to think a bit differently about how we wanted the day to go.
All the vendors were incredible, they completely blew us away on the day. Special mentions probably go to Supper Road for the food, it was mind blowing and we are still drooling over the pork belly bites to this day! Kate and the crew at Zest did an insane job with the furniture and styling, with Brady as event manager on the day. Brady made all our guests feel looked after and ensured the night ran perfectly. She’s a total legend.
The band were an absolute highlight – they were so helpful with advice on timings for the night and then came through with an epic combination of traditional Irish music and party tunes – we didn’t leave the dancefloor all night and it was magical to share an Irish experience at our wedding to celebrate Katie’s heritage.
Our celebrant, Nina, is my cousin, so that was really special to have her marrying us and she made us feel so relaxed. She flew in from Broome to officiate and had put in countless hours talking to our friends and family to personalise the ceremony and made it so memorable.
James Simmons, our photographer, was incredible to work with. He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera – which is definitely not usually the case for us. Katie and I were so caught up with each other on the day, we barely even noticed him and Olivia taking all these spectacular photos. It was a real treat to get the images back and see how he had perfectly captured the feelings and atmosphere of the day and made us look awesome as well. Going for our photographs ended up being one of our favourite parts of the day. Feeling like we were alone, overlooking the spectacular coast, laughing and dragging our dresses through dirt, it’s a time we’ll cherish. We had been worried about missing out on the party but James did a great job with timing to make sure we weren’t gone too long.
Cheers to
